Bruce Potter is a nationally recognized education consultant, author, and leadership expert whose career spans more than three decades of transformative work in K–12 education. As co-founder and author at The Center for Collaborative Expertise, Bruce Potter empowers educators and school leaders to bridge the gap between research and practice through professional development that cultivates collaborative learning cultures.
Before founding The Center for Collaborative Expertise, Bruce Potter served as the director of innovation for the Green Island Union Free School District from 2022 to 2024. In this role, he led the district’s initiative to become a certified visible learning school. He also developed the Heatly Way, a professional framework that redefined teaching and evaluation practices.
Bruce Potter has also made significant contributions to educational policy and regional development. He has served on multiple boards and committees, including the Capital Area School Development Association, WSWHE BOCES committees, and the Coalition of Special Act School Districts, where he was vice president from 2017 to 2019.
